Book of the Week- All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir
In an effort to organize my bookish life I have decided to start sharing a Book of the Week. I have been meaning to start this for quite some time…but…you know how that goes. Life happens and things get pushed aside. But…the time is now…and I can think of NO better book to start with then All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir. I just finished this book today and this book is going to stick with me for a very long time. It was beautiful and gut-wrenching, and emotional, and infuriating, and just plain old fantastic. Hollow Fires- A Powerful New Book from Samira Ahmed
I don’t often struggle to put my thoughts on a book into words. I can usually gather my thoughts and get them to form (mostly) coherent words without too much trouble. That is most definitely NOT the case with Hollow Fires. This book just hits differently. I think part of it is because while it is a work of fiction, there is so much real in this book. So much relevance. So much pain. So much TRUTH. One thing I CAN put into words is that this book is powerful. Hollow Fires is a powerful book…and it is going to have people talking! March Reading Wrap-Up!
Did you have a good reading month in March? I am super excited to share that mine was awesome! I managed to fit in 5 books and not a single one was a dud! March is here and that means it is time for a new Book Club announcement!
